ARCHIVE POLICY
Manthano: Journal of Christian Education is committed to the long-term preservation and permanent accessibility of all published content. The journal recognises that digital archiving is essential to ensuring the continuity of the scholarly record and that published articles remain accessible to readers worldwide, both now and in the future.
Digital Preservation
All articles published in Manthano are preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides decentralised digital preservation for journals using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. In the event that the journal ceases publication or becomes temporarily unavailable, preserved content will remain accessible through the network.
Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to self-archive their work at any stage of the publication process. Authors may deposit the submitted version, the accepted manuscript, or the final published version in an institutional repository, personal or institutional website, or a recognised preprint server. Where the final published version is deposited, authors must include a link to the article's permanent DOI on the journal website and provide proper attribution to Manthano.
Persistent Identifiers
All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) through Crossref, ensuring that each article has a permanent, citable, and globally resolvable identifier. The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and resolution of all assigned DOIs.
Journal Continuity
In the event of a change in ownership, platform migration, or discontinuation of the journal, the editorial board will take all reasonable steps to ensure that published content remains permanently accessible and that all DOIs continue to resolve correctly. Notice of any such changes will be communicated to authors and readers through the journal website.
